max was born August 5, 1993 and currently lives in Grand Prairie, Texas. Max started riding at age 9 on a honda xr 80, moved up to a cr 85 one year later and stayed on them for three years.   max started racing 85s in 2004  and stayed riding with honda through the minis and one year on a 250f.  while maintaining an "A"  "B"  honoroll status  in public school, max still managed to make time to train.   max moved up to big bikes in 2006 and won a few races here and there.   he rode a 250f from the end of 2006 until the end of 2007 and then moved to ktm to ride for sms racing on his new 144. Max enjoys riding almost every track, but his favorite is cooperland in oklahoma.  Max is sponsored by sms racing, shift, cycle gear, mad lab records, moto x pit, and is in desperate need of more.

Max really enjoys doing other thing besides motocross such as running, riding bmx, playing basket ball, and playing in his sandbox, hence the nickname"sandbox". 

Max's goals for this year are to qualify for ponca, and do well at all texas series races and most importantly stay healthy and keep from getting hurt.

Max is backed by his family 110%! his dad, mike and his mom, anne help in anyway possible. whether it be keeping him on schedule with training or keeping him out of trouble, they are there for him. this young man is dedicated to this sport as much if not more then anyone,  be sure and say a hello to him and his family at the track next time you see him out there.
