My name is
Garrett Nelson I am a 24 year old living in Euless, Tx
I was born in Azle,
Tx on June 23rd, 1985. I lived in the Azle area until I was
1 then moved to Saginaw where I spent all my life growing
up. I started high school @ Boswell starting in 2000 and
graduated early with honors in 2003
I started riding in
March 2009 when my buddy opened up his own Pit bike shop off
Jacksboro Highway in Lake Worth. We used to have so much fun
riding those things around. Then on July 17th,
2009...Opportunity struck, I got laid off from work and was
given a fairly large severance package in return. I already had
another job lined up luckily so I was able to use most of my
severance money for toys :).... Needless to say, I used most of
it to get my first big bike ( 2001 Honda CR125 ) and all new
riding gear. BEST decision I ever made. I have been riding big
bikes since August 2009 and have completely fallen in love with
the sport and world of Motocross. All of the people that have
helped me along the way I owe a great deal of thanks too.
Friends, family and riders I have met at the local tracks have
been awesome with their kindness and support.
My first series of
racing came in November 2009 when The Blizzard Series rolled
into town. Even though I am still new to the sport and have not
been placing very well, I have had a total blast racing with
everyone. I can honestly say that Motocross will be a part of my
life as long as god is willing to let it.
