My name is Chris Young,

I am 18 years of age. I have lived in Haltom City all my life.

I fell in love with the sport of Motocross about 2 ½ years ago. I started racing about a year ago. I want to make a career out of racing. I currently race in the novice class and have only been to local events, I have a long way to go but I believe I can accomplish that goal.

I learned to ride in the summer of 2008 on a Honda CRF230F; after I got my figure eights down I rode a 2005 CRF250X for about two months and then jumped on my first race bike 2006 Honda CRF250R which is still my ride today.

I thank my family for what they have provided me, to benefit me for motocross.

I am in need of sponsorships to help me reach my goals. My main short term goal is to place in the top 5 in the 125 class at local events. My ultimate goal is to become pro.

My favorite tracks are River Valley MX, I-35MX, and Nocona MX. Besides riding I also enjoy working out, watching movies, playing video games, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying life.

I have been struggling with a medical problem for 4 years that causes fatigue that has affected my riding severely at times but I am very dedicated to the sport and I will do whatever it takes to reach my goals.

I would like to give a big thank you to River Valley Motocross for all their support and for just being friendly from the first time we ever made a trip out there.
